Over the last 8 years Rabbi Yaakov Jacknis has established himself as one of the the most dynamic, caring, and skilled 8th grade Rebbes in the United States.  His charismatic personality, Torah knowledge, innovative programming and huge heart have endeared him to his students and their parents alike. His shiurim for adults are likewise inspirational, informative, and incisive. A native of Monsey New York, Rabbi Jacknis studied in the Mir Yeshiva, Jerusalem where he remains a close talmid of Rav Yosef Elefant, shlita, and he continues his chinuch activities in the summers as Head Counselor of Camp Heller in upstate, New York.
